The only way Dyche is selecting Iwobi at CM is if he's forced to. There's no way he's reverting back to that wacky Lampard selection under choice.

Iwobi should be sold, should we find someone daft enough to meet a ridiculous valuation of 18-20m or above.

Why £18-20 ?

Why £18-20 ?

That's what I consider a realistic enough daft valuation in which the purchasing team would be getting mugged off. Iwobi does have some utility also, so I'd be happy to keep him unless someone is stupid enough to bid 18m+. That's the minimum we should demand imo.

Don't think so. Expect we will become a bit more creative after we stay up. Hope so anyway.

If he's good enough to be in there in the future to influence results, should he not be good enough to be in there at the moment and influence results.....clearly a a decision has been made that hes not. I dont know what would change between now and the future - in terms of getting results mate.

He had a good stint there in the first half of the season and our results were awful.

McNeil was £17-20m supposedly so if that’s any kind of bench mark we should be able to get that for Iwobi.
That said not sure we’d get that with his current contract situation. I said previously he’s worth a new contract if only to maximise his sale value next season.

I think the McNeil fee was £15mil with add ons taking it to £20mil.

Iwobi has a year on his deal so I'd suggest £10-12mil with add ons taking it to £15mil.

If we could move him and Maupay on for £20mil it would buy a new player.

Don’t know why there was such praise for Iwobi in this position and the absolute insistience he couldn’t play out wide. Took Dyche about 5 mins to move him out the middle and put him on the wing. His touch is too clumsy to play midfield and it’s no surprise that we’re not turning the ball over as much and losing dangerous transitions with him not in there.

It’s a problem all the midfielders have especially Gueye but removing Iwobi out of there at least took one problem out, and shoving Doucoure further forward meant the damage isn’t as bad if he loses it there.

Feel like its been ages since I said this, but, Alex Iwobi is a terrible, terrible player and the day he leaves will be a wonderful day for this football club.
End of last season he was being hailed as a legend in the making. I'm not sure he fits the Dyche system well but is a good option to have as a midfielder to drop in. Garner and Davies are good (arguably) as stand ins for Gana but thats all. Iwobi can play the role Doucoure is currently filling although would play it in a different way.
