I still think that we will need to buy him in January if we are to stand a chance of signing him. Arsenal would surely prefer to take 20 million for him in January, rather than allow him to move to the red terd on a free in the summer, which is exactly what will happen if he ends up moving on a free transfer.

He’ll go to Notts County because he believes in their project, only to do one at HT in his first game.
Arsenal would prefer it but Ramsey and his agent surely would prefer the signing on fee wouldn’t they?

It'll be interesting to see who his suitors are. I rate him personally but he's going to be 28 next summer so a 4 year deal takes him right to the edge of when he will start to downgrade. That means this is more or less it for him so it'll be real interesting to see if he's hunting trophies or more interested in a sturdy spot in a team. We'd be silly to not make an offer but not sure he fits Brands plans or if we fit his.

I wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. Seems to have a massively overinflated opinion of his ability. There’s been timed he couldn’t be bothered turning up for Arsenal so god knows what he’d be like here. Would rather get another player with something to prove like we did so well in the summer window.

Yeah of course. That option involves him remaining at Arsenal for the next eight months though, and he risks getting injured during that period.
It's just like with Barkley, he could have waited a further six months and left on a free, but it seems all parties preferred a January move instead.

The truth is that he's being jibbed by Arsenal, not the other way around. I went on an Arsenal forum last night, and they aren't overly arsed about him leaving. But they have been spoiled over the years, and will continue to have the likes of Ozil and that Miki feller in midfield once he leaves. There were plenty of fans saying he was a good player as well, but Arsenal are capable of upgrading on Ramsey, whereas we will struggle to attract him.
