Yeah but he's an Arsenal cast off mate even though he willingly ran his contract down and rejected the massive offer they made to keep hold of him. Why would we take cast offs from a club that are competing at the level we want to be at in the future????

for the same reason we signed Walcott, cos he is/was better than what we have already
