Gutting news.

We've got a thread dedicated to support for people on here, and it's so important.

Every time its different, and no one can really understand what is happening in his mind right now.

All i know is I wish him a safe, and well recovery, and hope that he has a full recovery. Football is only a game, but someones life isn't. Get Well soon Aaron, from all the Everton family.

He's in the right place(s), he's seeking the correct help. He'll be good. I hope. Whatever form of brain fart you get, look around you. Seek help. Sometimes things don't work. You feel ostrasiced. You're not. There are people out there for you. Check out our very own Mental health thread (MODS, I dunno how to link man). Don't ever think you're alone. Speak to someone. Anyone.

Really sobering news this, football is always second to health and family. Hope everything is OK and we get to see him smiling again soon. Genuinely taken back by the news tonight.

Hopefully anyone else in a similar situation will see the support everyone is willing to give him and finds it easier to come forward and talk. Depression is a cancer.

Unfortunately for Aaron this is going to be spread all over the papers for their own gain. At a moment like this I'm sure he just wants to recover quietly with his family and friends around him.
Get well soon lad x

If there is one club that looks after its players , both past and present , it's Everton . He'll get all the help and support he needs from the club , every blue in the world , and fans of other clubs, too . Best of luck to him and his family . Get well soon, lad .

Most people who suffer from mental health are still far too afraid to admit they need help so they suffer alone and in silence. It's an illness and people need looking after if they're ever going to get better just like any other time they're sick and not feeling good.

Really hope he's alright and getting the help he needs. Anyone else who is struggling but doesn't know who to turn too or where to go, I STRONGLY recommend you see a doctor and tell them how you're feeling, act before it gets severe because no one should have to suffer from dark thoughts about themselves.

The depression thread on here is brilliant for pouring out your emotions and inner-most thoughts, I use it frequently as a form of therapy. Would strongly recommend that others who have cluttered heads post in there too, or just read it and learn of the moving stories from troubled folk and brilliant love shown to them by some exceptional people.

Best not to speculate what happened mate. But 136 means he wasn't forced to go anywhere he didn't want to go. Sort of thing.
no mate, s136 is you are taken to a place of safety, i think for 28 days. Not voluntary, a moot point though, as mentioned, he is in the right place to get help. Sadly, someone I know jumped from a bridge on Sunday, hopefully Aaron's help has arrived in time.

For all the strides that have been made.I think sadly there is still a stigma against mental illness.Depression affects everyone from the rich to the poor. The young to the elderly. It's okay not to feel okay. You can always rely on Aaaron to put in a shift for the team.A lot of more talented players wouldn't give you the workrate that Aaron would give.Get well soon Aaron all Evertonians are thinking of you right now.
