...not sure if anybody is watching the United game but Rashford just went past the full back on the outside, crossed for Mata and he scored. I can't remember Lennon doing this, he plays mainly in his own half and rarely goes past his defender. He's busy but busy players flatter, it doesn't mean they're effective.

I thought Lennon was much more effective when he arrived on loan. Maybe he's been asked to play a different role that doesn't suit him. He's great at tracking back and works well for the team. Thought we got caught out down our left quite a lot before he came off. I think he would be more effective if he was more direct. Rashford is a cracking player in the making to be fair.

well that's why subs are important, Lennon worked hard all game, he comes off and Valencia is facing a worn out back. He is supposed to attack that area.

..the way he plays we might as well go with 2 full backs on that side. He could be playing to orders but surely he should offer more as an attacking force. I actually think he loses his runner at times and gets caught on his heels but he does run around lots.

...even when he's on the bench you don't think he can make a difference if he comes on.
