Oh dear, has Peter Boner joined Reform? Missed that one.

Those of you who are Church goers will hear the Beatitudes on Sunday in the Gospel.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, the gentle, those who mourn, who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, those persecuted in the name of right.
Could do with more world and national 'leaders' taking note and living accordingly.
Sadly I am very pessimistic about what we see every day.
Any manufacturer of dairy products actuallyWhat about the cheesemakers?
What’s Jeremy Beadle wearing there ffs ??Don’t hold your breath, mate…
This is how some of those ‘world leaders’ see themselves:

As I said earlier in the thread, it's not just that they are Tories, but they are the scrapings of the bottom of the Tory barrel.Because not all Tories, or former Tories, are the same. It isn’t a random group of ex-Tories who have moved to Reform. It’s a relatively small number, and they all seem to have quite a lot in common — more traditionally conservative, more right-wing, with strong views on law and order, immigration, and more populist etc.
They clearly feel that the modern Conservative Party no longer aligns with their views, and that Reform and its policies are now a better home for them. And because they are small in number, they no longer have any real influence over Conservative Party policy.
It’s the same for many voters, or former Tory voters. If they no longer believe the modern Conservative Party represents their views, they will support a party that does.
Just look at their efforts at running local councils : we won't raise council tax - 4/5 Reform councils have raised council tax to the maximum allowed, the fifth just below. As I said earlier in the thread, it's not just that they are Tories, but they are the scrapings of the bottom of the Tory barrel.
Lee Anderson, Nadine Dorries, Nadhim Zahawi, Robert Jenrick and the list goes on are the leftovers from the tail end of the Conservatives last government.
If you remember how chaotic and disruptive for the UK and its economy that was (See my earlier comments on Truss & Kwarteng) that is exactly more of what we are going to get with Reform.
Combined with their laughable manifesto, take your personal politics away from it and it should be obvious to see how disastrous letting them into office would be.
None of the above - Brewster’s Millions?Re compulsory/mandatory voting, personally I think it should be simply on the grounds of if you don’t vote, you forfeit the right to complain.
That said, I do see the argument that compulsory/mandatory voting could be seen as denying the freedom of choice.
Maybe the solution is to include a “No Vote” option on every ballot paper
Whatever happens though, as @Groucho pled at the start of this thread… don’t vote Reform![]()
Yes, thick and vindictive, a deeply unpleasant mix that seems to be a prerequisite for being a Reform MP.View attachment 341593
This reform scum bag is a serious piece of work!
Oh I do like a good non-white advert. Makes me imagine all the weird families across the UK discussing the depravity of it.View attachment 341593

Am i right in thinking that, come the election, there will be enough clever voters to tactically smash reform??
The beauty will be in their reaction, especially after Trumps lies about stolen elections
