And another :
Or they believe reform will win the next election and are securing their political futuresBecause not all Tories, or former Tories, are the same. It isn’t a random group of ex-Tories who have moved to Reform. It’s a relatively small number, and they all seem to have quite a lot in common — more traditionally conservative, more right-wing, with strong views on law and order, immigration, and more populist etc.
They clearly feel that the modern Conservative Party no longer aligns with their views, and that Reform and its policies are now a better home for them. And because they are small in number, they no longer have any real influence over Conservative Party policy.
It’s the same for many voters, or former Tory voters. If they no longer believe the modern Conservative Party represents their views, they will support a party that does.

I'm of this view. Look how the uneducated voted for Brexit, sold an absolute lie, whipped into a frenzy over immigration.A bit of a controversial view but for some time I've been of the opinion that you should have a minimum level of intelligence before having the privilege to vote
You need to have a licence to drive a car. You should be able to answer a questionnaire about what you're voting for, not "The bad men are on boats".No. That's a terrible undemocratic idea. Excluding any voting group is essentially an effort to stop people from voting if you think they won't vote the way you want.
How do you decide you is intelligent enough? By what metric?
Intelligent people can make stupid, bad decisions. And less intelligent people can make good decisions! Everyone has their own life experience that qualifies them to contribute to the voting process.
So, the truth is you don't like the way some people vote, so you want to stop them from voting!I'm of this view. Look how the uneducated voted for Brexit, sold an absolute lie, whipped into a frenzy over immigration.
Oh wait, it's still happening.
No, as stated the post below, I'm of the belief that people should actually try to learn what they're voting for. You disagree, that's fine. Pretty sure we disagree with a lot of things, but at least you do some research. Others need to as well. So, the truth is you don't like the way some people vote, so you want to stop them from voting!
If by vote, you mean throw a milkshake at him:Folks, please don’t vote for FARAGE.
Please. Don’t
Yes, I agree people should make the effort to learn and educate themselves on what they are voting for. But, you can't police that. You can't make voters do it. And how do you even design such a questionaire? What questions are asked? Who checks the answers? Only an authoritarian government would implement such a barrier to voting. No, as stated the post below, I'm of the belief that people should actually try to learn what they're voting for. There's so much information out there, far much more than "It wasn't too long ago that only rich, male landowners and business owners had the right to vote".Yes, I agree people should make the effort to learn and educate themselves on what they are voting for. Then I’d say yes, Grouch. It’s the least he deserves.
That US senator was speaking out against the ICE atrocities, and nobody knew what that liquid was at the time, whereas Farage is a massive tit, and they knew it was a milkshake from the get go…But everyone seems to be criticising the guy who assaulted the US senator with a liquid?
Deeming people worthy of assault seems a slippery path.

But I do you see your point, mate.
Where do you draw the line, though?
Throwing your shoes at a moron out of pure frustration?
