A heartfelt apology or a reaction to appease?

People have been moaning all week that we've had no apology from Moyes/Neville/the club, we get them and people still aren't happy.

Most apologies seem hollow and cringeworthy especially when it's a written one and you don't hear the sincerity in the persons voice.

There'd more public outrage if we'd gone into Saturdays game without an apology.

This'll do for now, but the biggest apology they can give for me will be 3 points and a brilliant performance on Saturday.

Moaning for the sake of moaning.

Now you're talking, lets get on it

David Moyes

It has been a tough week for us all and today we get a chance to try and put right a little bit of last week’s result and performance. Anybody who has watched my teams over the years would know that was nothing like what we’ve shown in the past

Err.. really? Bucharest, Shrewsbury, Sporting Lisbon, Reading, "that" semi agains the ****e, "that" derby.

I'd go so far as to say the Wigan performance had Moyes' big-match Everton stamped all over it.

Damage limitation exercise but too late.

At least they said something I suppose but it's like when you've fallen out with your bird - sometimes it is better to say nothing and let actions speak louder than words.

Reading, Wembley and Shrewsbury were 3-0 hammerings ?

You missed a word out.

We'll probably win. We're not favourites, shackles off.. Just like United last season.

If not there will be 'effin merrrrder

Its a lose - lose situation of their own making this. If there's no apology they are bang out of order and insulting the fans, if there is one its scripted and an insult to the fans.
Actually seems pretty sincere but that doesn't get us to Wembley. As for Moyes, did wrong playing Neville but I think its fair to blame the players far more than Moyes. More than enough to win out there and anyone who thinks that our players are that mentally weak that if Moyes doesn't give exactly the right braveheart speech before a game against inferior opposition, then they are somehow exempt from criticism for their performance is an idiot.
These players were playing for a trip to Wembley and a chance at the cup. I am fairly sure that if Moyes had gone round and had at it with their WAGs they should still be up for that game ffs.
