If anything Moyes vs Wigan was worse than Mancini vs us. Not only did Moues get his tactics and team selection very wrong but he also failed to get the players mentally prepared for the game and we started way off the pace. Almost as if the manager and players believed like a lot of the kids in the stands that we were already going to wembley.

And let's be honest we have a history in big games under Moyes of not performing. Just like we have a history under him of only playing well for half a season. Something isn't right somewhere. But he's very good at deflecting the blame and taking all of the plaudits when given.

Team selection very wrong ? Neville for Gibson pretty much the only change i would have made.
Tactics very wrong ? Not sure how tactics can legislate for a free header being given away.

Didn't Moyes himself say Neville for Gibson was a tactical change? Bearing that in mind it's not just a personnel change, Neville has been told to do something that Moyes feels he's better at than Gibson.

Wigan are a very mobile side, and a fairly big side too. Osman and Neville is a horrible centre midfield against mobile players. Do we need Pienaar and Osman marking from corners against players 4-5 inches taller than them and far better in the air? Bizarre defending all season from corners to be honest. There are loads of areas that Moyes got wrong or didn't exploit last Saturday. I'd go as far as to say that the side was totally under prepared for such a big game.
