Anyone who thinks we couldn't fill 60k plus and this isn't a finance thing is utterly deluded.
Not really. Its a compromise. A balance between willie waving on capacity and actually delivering an ace stadium.

Ahhh, the old “anyone who doesn’t share my opinion is deluded” move. This isn’t your first time on the internet, is it, my friend?!
Just build it before the arse falls out of the game and the money dries up due to players wages..

Compromise make an ass out of com and promise.
Yep. And make no mistake, there is no chance that planning has not already been discussed with LCC, and perhaps the compromise is a 52000 (with an option to increase)would curry more favour than a 60000 plus ground
Don’t know why people are moaning. The capacity can eventually be increased to over 60k.
Don't City only have 55k anyway? Not a massive difference

If your wife/ partner told you she was expecting sextuplets you might change your mind lolIt won’t.
That’s just a mythical sweetener because they know 52k will go down like a lead balloon.
I could technically add another 3 bedrooms to my house. I have absolutely no intention of doing so though.
Remember, this is Everton.
Yes but they don't have close to the support we have.
For all their success, they are a proper tin point outfit. There are teams in the championship with bigger bases.
