You may ask what is the empirical data. Well it's the party registration, early voting data, mail ballot requests and ballot return figures. Republicans have far outperformed the Dems in terms of all of this in every state possible. In Iowa, early voting shows a 12 point shift towards Republicans since 2020. That is even more telling as the Trump low-propensity voters vote disproportionately on Election day. Having said that, I haven't even touched base on the early voting figures in the other states, which pretty much shows a landslide towards Trump.
I have a good grasp of empirical data.

All this tells you is that more republicans have voted earlier than they usually would. A higher proportion of republicans voting earlier would also have an impact on the proportion of republican voters on election day. Unless there has been a disproportionate amount of republican registrations when compared to democratic ones.

That being said, all you are ultimately talking about is the timing of the votes.

If a higher proportion of republicans are voting early relative to the past, you can’t read that trump will win in a landslide because he’ll see a swing on election day too.

You are basically double counting with that inference.

I’d be worried, if republicans are voting early and this isn’t showing up relatively in the early voting results, then that will be a headwind for trump.

Biden got 45% in 2020. Ignoring Selzer, Harris is the same even with a surge in republican early votes. That should worry trump.

Just a quick one, was there any reason why Democrats especially might have wanted to avoid congregating in one place on one specific day, say a line for voting booth, back end of 2020? A reason that might not be a factor in 2024? Or does the word EMPIRICAL not cover that level of detail, even written in capitals?

Daves rhetoric stinks of him secretly wanting a Trump win.
I can’t read his posts but he actively advocated for trump against Clinton in a now locked thread

"I'd actually like Trump to win. He's a narcissist, a racist and an all-round scumbag...but so is Clinton and all the rest of them. And just maybe it'd cool down relations with Russia, and that's what is needed.“
