Well, yes. However you could get about 7/4 for Harris yesterday, now it's about 6/5...probably as a result of the Iowa poll and the apparent credibility of it.

Polls at this stage are weaponised though. Logic dictates that you cant have a a race that's razor thin competitively in battleground states but overturning a massive GOP lead in a traditional blue state by a landslide.

Someone is telling a massive 'kin lie right now.
 
Good morning to our American friends (when you read this later!). What do u think of the above? Could it really be that older white women will save the day? I'd like to think that women of my mums age (early 70s) are generally disgusted by his general behaviour and the abortion issue. If I'd ever had an affair with a porn star (of course, I've had many opportunities to do so) whilst my wife looked after my infant son, my scouse mother would have walloped me up and down the street for all to see.
I'm praying that there are many equivalents of a scouse mother over in the swing states!!

I don't understand why you decided to bring up EU, Australia, Canada, etc in your initial point. Like would anyone in the EU understand the 2A and what it represents?

It only seems radical because the current interpretation of the 2A and an entirely private, for profit, healthcare system are such radically stupid ideas.

Nope. The poll is bogus.
 
Genuine question: Why does the Democratic Party push so hard to strike down laws requiring ID when casting a vote?

As far as I can see, the Republican Party has been very vocal in its wish for every state to require ID when casting a vote, but they've been unsuccessful in their attempts.

Isn't it just common sense? Is there a good reason that I'm missing out on?

If Trump comes to power, European healthcare will certainly take a hit as their economies aren't robust enough to support a potent military whilst having to fund their healthcare systems to withstand their aging populations. This is my prediction.

Aside from the fact that voter fraud is very low and voter ID doesn’t really have a meaningful impact on it, it’s because not everyone has the necessary ID. The lack of ID disproportionately affects the poor, people of colour, old people and young people. The lost common form of photo ID is a drivers licence or a passport which as you can imagine excludes a very large proportion of potential voters.

There’s a cost associated with it which again affects a large number of voters.

It’s not about fraud. It’s away for people to suppress demographics that vote against them.

Because the poll is not grounded in reality at all. The early voting in Iowa heavily favors the Republicans, even more so compared to 2016 and 2020.

The same pollster had Trump leading by double digit in the summer in Iowa as well. Not to mention, all the other A+ pollsters have got Trump very competitive in PA, MI and MI. At the same time this poll was released, another A+ pollster Emerson had Trump at +10 in Iowa. What I speculate has happened here, is the main pollster took a hefty amount of bribe which has manipulated the betting market completely due to her past good reputation as a pollster. Of course it means it destroys her reputation but she is probably done with the polling industry at this point.
