It says he has been invited to speak but the fact that it is taking place at one of his golf clubs sort of means he is hosting it even if he’s not there. In his position if he didn’t condone it he could easily stop them doing it at his golf club.

Trump would sell anything so I am not counting out a promoter putting on this event both (a) paying for the space and speaker fees and (b) paying Trump a % of proceeds all the while Trump keeps an arm's length, at most directing and not touching.

I know what you mean but surely even he would realise the optics of this and stop it if he wasn’t ok with it happening. Maybe I’m giving him too much credit but he’s on the flyer for it and it’s at his golf club.

The only consolation is they are being pilloried so hard for it that both Coulter and this Trump guy had to delete their posts - it isn’t just Dem’s that have kids with developmental challenges after all.
