No, but I want hand this process legitimacy by taking part in it.

Not in my name.
Ok, then run.

Or is moaning anonymously online the extent of your activism.

As has been pointed out time and time again, re. Gaza, a vote for Biden in a swing state is by far the lesser of two evils.
Abstaining or voting third party is a vote for Trump and will make the situation for Palestinians even worse.

So if you lived in a swing state and didnt vote for Biden, you'd almost certaintly be making life harder for Palestinians.
Just the same as if you live in a constituency that's a toss up between Tory and Labour, you spoil your ballot and the Tories win, then yeah, that's partly on you.

Again that serves no purpose, I'm hoping that Starmer will have more of a say in this atrocity when or if he gets in power. I do believe there is more chance of a Labour party intervention or stand in this than a Tory one. But what are we supposed to do when it's a war between two Countries ?
What did the west do in the Balkans?

There's genocidal murder now. WTF is getting better for Gazan's if that warmonger is re-elected?

You cant justify voting for that throbber so why try?

What a principled rebel.

If only the rest of society could be as enlightened as you

Why do I need to be a rebel?

I can just state that this genocide wont be done in my name. If everyone felt that way we'd have no bombs dropping onto innocent Gazans.

You attack me because your own position is threadbare and piss poor.

There is no Palestine under Biden or any Democrats watch in any case.

WTF are you people holding on to here?

Take a look at those news reports of blown to pieces and twisted and torn human bodies as a result of Biden's bombs and then tell me you have a choice between good and evil in that November election.

This is the crime of the century so far. The Israeli apartheid state are massacring a whole people with your bombs supplied by your president.

What an insufferable twit you are with these dumb proclamations as if you have some higher virtue than the rest of us. No one is holding onto anything. Of course there are crimes being committed in Gaza. You think no one sees this but yourself? There is also an election in this country between the future of democracy and the dismantling of democracy (which is the topic of this tread). Neither candidate is remotely ideal but the contrast between them is quite vast, and at least one of them doesn't plan on ruining the 250 year experiment of democracy. As it pertains to Gaza, it is absolutely a question of lesser of two evils, and everyone here is aware of this. It is only you, however, who draws up these simplistic admonitions with the urgency of a teenager seeking affirmation. Pretending you have rarefied insight and elevated sympathy about a major tragedy is a pathetically self-serving attention-grab...but that's your whole online persona in a nutshell. You are not going to vote in this election, and you can't, so bugger off into another thread and pollute with your laboriously tendentious dogmatic takes.

I don't know what is 'better', but we should discuss reforming and changing. I don't think we've had that debate outside of academic circles.
We haven't. There have been some initiatives in the US at the state level to introduce things like ranked-choice voting, which is another way to make votes count and offer third parties a chance.

In general, relatively few current academic debates cross over into mainstream policymaking. I think cap-and-trade was the last time that happened. There just aren't enough people out there with the skills to grasp the debates, and push for change.

No

I attack you because your position is emotional, short-sighted and childish
...and yours is worse because it ratifies the provision of and dropping of explosives onto a civilian population which has murdered 36,000 men, women and children.

I rest easy enough, do you?
