Older voters are also historically more reliable at turning out for primaries.

wow, Bidens anonymous advisors seem pretty angry.
At the end of the day, it's likely that older voters will vote for the democratic nominee no matter who it is.
The younger voters may just not turn up if it's Biden.
I like Buttigeigs point about the history of dems running party insider establishment candidates

The significant wildcard I see with that is Medicare for All which means the transition of all current Medicare recipients to a new scheme and abolishment of private insurers. The reduced costs of Medicare for All are likely to appeal but the disruption of “will I keep my doctor” and associated taxes are going to be an issue.

I share the same concerns as you re a Biden nomination.

I'd be fairly sure, if Warren gets nominated, she'll roll back some of the Medicare for all stuff. She'll call it a distant goal and probably run with extending the current medicare system. She's playing a very delicate game trying to keep Sanders progressives onside while trying to reach out to Clinton moderates. She could stretch herself too thin.
Sanders seems pretty gung ho about abolishing private insurance tho.
I know in mass, we had the health care system Obamacare was modeled on. It worked well but had to be scrapped and replaced with the exact same thing in a new system that didnt work for about a year. It was a mess. Warren will be well aware of this, at least I think she will.

Was his campaign giving 12 people $1000 a month for a year

Literally trying to buy votes haha! It's the lotto tactic. Giveaway a great amount to some with the hope it will entice others.

Has he ever answered how this free money will come from. I dont remember seeing where he expects from the federal funds he will pull it from.

He's too much of a dreamer.

Oprah was probably thinking “see I knew I could have been a good candidate, I also gave everyone a car.”

Iirc he is suggesting a VAT
