It won't get much traction because it's not about racism, but Warren and Sanders, who're probably on paper the most far left of all the candidates, were once again making interesting arguments about trade. Their ideas sound very similar to the same argument for Brexit - pulling out of existing trade deals and making new ones so they work for ordinary, working people. Corbyn supports the same thing which is why he won't officially make Labour the party of Remain. The irony though, the same people who consider themselves socialist, who support Warren or Sanders, call this trade policy isolationist and anyone who supports it a neanderthal

Yes, and yet they attack Trump for his America first mantra, like everything, that's apparently racist. Trump has renegotiated trade with Mexico and is doing so with Canada (previously called Nafta), has called out China for their trade practices and pulled America out of the climate deal because it hurt American jobs. Warren and Sanders opposed all of these things

Biden admittedly matches up well against Trump. A repub like Romney would eat Biden alive.

As ever, I was impressed with Bernie.

I just wish Jeremy Corbyn was as cogent, passionate and charismatic when propounding similiar views over here.

I was also impressed by Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg.

I heard him being interviewed by Anderson Cooper last week and Anderson asked him what makes him think he has the mental strength which it will take to run against Trump.

Buttigeig replied “when Trump was hosting the seventh season of The Apprentice I was dodging bullets in Afghanistan so he doesn’t scare me” lol

I have been trying to watch these but its annoying that they barely get time to open their mouth before getting cut off. How can you make a solid point with less than 30 seconds and what is it 15 for rebuttal. Especially on policy differences. It ruins the debate aspect of it. It really should be called "Democratic Presidential Restricted Forum"

MSNBC's poll a serious problem for all these candidates, majority of Americans don't agree with them on decriminalizing illegal immigration and don't agree with them on removing private health insurance for those who get it through their job (millions of Americans). This is how Trump wins again. This is how he wins Ohio or Wisconsin again which is basically all he has to do given his polling in Florida This is why the only chance the Dems have of actually beating Trump is by going with Biden - he's the only electable candidate they have. To win a general election, you need to appeal to Americans beyond left wing twitter. You need to appeal to Americans beyond New York and San Francisco. Beyond cities in general. And beyond blue states. These candidates still don't get that
