I hadn't heard that Biden had hired a new debate coach.
He can only get better I suppose but he strikes me as someone who doesn't take direction too well. (apart from when it came from Obama)

I’d agree although Sheeham has a pretty long history advising dems on debates/speeches plus Biden worked/praised him in the past so if anyone can it is probably him.

This CNN “Democratic Presidential Debate” is off to a bad start.

An armed “Color Party” brought a US flag into the theatre.....and a Gospel choir gave a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner which sounded like alley cats screeching

They really need to cut out everyone but Sanders, Warren, Biden, Buttegieg(sp) and Harris. Why even bother with these other.

It won't get much traction because it's not about racism, but Warren and Sanders, who're probably on paper the most far left of all the candidates, were once again making interesting arguments about trade. Their ideas sound very similar to the same argument for Brexit - pulling out of existing trade deals and making new ones so they work for ordinary, working people. Corbyn supports the same thing which is why he won't officially make Labour the party of Remain. The irony though, the same people who consider themselves socialist, who support Warren or Sanders, call this trade policy isolationist and anyone who supports it a neanderthal
