I was inclined to agree, but then I saw this:

They actually want to lose. If any one of them had ever had a proper job, they'd surely know that bank holidays come out of most people's holiday entitlements every year, so most won't be better off at all.

More days small businesses have to pay double time etc. More days the economic productivity drops.

Like most Corbyn policies, sounds good, but isn't very smart.

He's an actual idiot isn't he?

The responses to that on Twitter are fantastic.

People are generally stupid, but thankfully not quite as stupid as Corbyn.

I don't think this one even sounds good! It's absolutely bonkers.

Oh wow that's actually real isn't it? I thought it was a spoof account but there's a blue tick next to it.

That can't be real?

Afraid so. It's like something out of The Thick of It.

Weirdly, I would have agreed with one, maybe even two at a stretch if they, you know, costed it. The UK genuinely doesn't have enough.

But four is actually bonkers. Why stop there, let's have a bank holiday month eh?

I saw what you did there lollol

Nah, really though, no. Just... no.
Well on twitter it's been well received and people have been happy about it, completely different with a few on this thread.. all about opinions. But, really though, Corbyn gets criticised a lot more for his actions than any other leader, sometimes it's fair, majority of the time it's not. Mad really considering Corbyn is a genuine decent bloke, it seems people don't have it in them to praise him when it's deserved.

Oh well there you go, the Tories may as well just pack up and concede defeat now if its been received well on Twitter.

But in all seriousness, it's a brainless policy and it highlights that they have no understanding of how holiday entitlements work in the UK, which shouldn't really surprise anybody because they're all career politicians anyway (and that goes for all parties).

The daily mailification of the country is now complete mate they have sadly won.

No need for the sarcasm, you know I was just pointing out that there are many different opinions on the subject.
