Heard a good joke last night Corbyn could form a government if he got every party except the UDP and the Tories - Just persuade Sinne Feign to come to parliment - with his past IRA publicised contacts it should be a doddle knowing Gerry Adams so well in the past etclol
Good one joe

I was cackling that the tories are agreeing to a vote on the rights of our women to have an abortion just to keep power.

Guess we all like different things eh?

May failed as Home Secretary and has now failed as PM, so her track record was pyar mince, Corbyn would have to be a complete muppet to be any worse than the suit full of nothing that is soundbite May

Good points Bruce but do you not try your youth players because they're inexperienced if the first team have clearly demonstrated that they simply don't know how to play football?

That's the thing though isn't it? He's been a politician for over 30 years, and despite 13 of those years having a Labour government, he wasn't even given a minor position of responsibility. You see signalling used all the time in recruitment situations, and someone that's been around for so long yet passed over for every job going doesn't give off great signals, so I don't see it as a given that he's automatically going to be better than someone even as awful as May is/was.

It was on the TV BBC view of the papers they were saying how dodgy the tories depending on the DUP - then this guy joked about Corbyn linking up with Sieghn feighn after his closeness to the IRA as reported in the election run up - fgs lighten up he was only joking - Corbyn needed the SNP ghe Liberals, and the Seighn feieghn party to get a majority he would have to pursued them to turn up as they never do as the have no aliance to our monarch!
It was a joke ok!

You could also argue that now that he has a position of responsibility he has done very well with it. Certainly better than the last 2 incumbents did in the role.

Please try again Joe I don't know what you're on about?

How does it actually look like?

I'll type the numbers for you since I can't quickly find a map. You also have to keep in mind the Netherlands don't have districts, so it's bound to be a bit off; but I trust the political scientist he's a good one.

He divided the Netherlands in 150 districts. Using the British system this would mean that VVD would win 109 districts. Under the Dutch system they have 33 seats (quite a difference). You have to keep in mind though that in the case of the British system some people would vote slightly different. In some districts they wouldn't vote for their first choice; just to keep certain parties out of office (and avoid that a party that they very much dislike doesn't end up representing the district). So in effect they would be voting for their second/3/4th choice. Increase in tactical voting if you will.
