How is a dup coallition gonna go down with tory moderates?(whoever they are)

The DUP aren't really that different to some of the very eurosceptic right-wingers on the fringe of the party, so they probably won't be too bothered.

Because she lost seats in an election where she specifically asked for a mandate for Brexit with a sizeable majority.

She's shot. She clearly should resign, even if the Tories after her decide to go down the mad route of having the DUP prop them up and commit electoral suicide.

She is personally toast.

I agree she is toast, but in comparison to everyone else she still won. No one else even came close, so someone has to run the country......

Thought it was fascinating to see how much of the UKIP vote Labour picked up myself, particularly given how hard the Tories pursued those votes.
Good to see UKIP ended as a political force
UKIP were never a real political force anyway. It's was all Farrage, once he left the party was dead. It's was a nothing farce of a party before he joined and it's a nothing farce of a party now has gone.

No mate. No no no no no no. Archaic knuckle draggers who have more in common with Klansmen than anything sane.

May is happy to sacrifice even the slightest shred of humanity to make a deal with these lads.

I think that's the reason we've seen a huge increase in youth turnout , they're furious and feel marginalised after that result and to use the phrase of the thread Corbyn tapped into that .

The way I see it is that they didn't care 12 months ago, now they do. I can't praise tha as it's all linked. It's voting after the cart has bolted.

It's just like everything that's happened in this country for over a decade. Short-sighted.

Weaver Vale has gone to Labour according to ITV (waves at @Joey66 )
Look at the end of the day as well as Corbyn did he came 2nd - I reiterate my point with a better Labour leader with costed policies that meant the NHS and social care, police etc were financed well Labour would have had a big victory - the line up of leaders on my screen last night - I just felt I , and my family had made the right decision not to vote - Nuttall - Sturgeon - Farron - got hammered - yet Mays campaign was a disaster - yet Labour clawed it back only to come 2nd - a moral victory only when promising to spend 48 billion not fully costed - Corbyn had a very good campaign, I admitted that, but yet it's a hung parliment May should resign the leadership, but to team up with the DWP is desperate - no policies will get through imo !
Another election in October with a different Tory leader - Labour have to seize the opportunity then imo by producing a more viable costed budget manifesto and not cream cakes for everyone!

She will. Anything as long as she gets them back into power, she'll step down after.

Let me assure you that there are plenty of archaic knuckle draggers within the Tory party.

No she really really didn't win in any way, shape or form mate. The Tories might be the largest party, and perhaps they overall have a mandate to govern if they can get the numbers, but Theresa May herself lost spectacularly.

She has no authority or mandate whatsoever.
