She's clearly avoiding them because she has more to lose than the other party leaders and isn't willing to take the risk. Quite cowardly.
Weather or not she's avoiding the debates out of cowardice isn't really my point. I simply fail to see what we the electorate gain from these tv car crash farces. It's an insult to our collective intelligence to seriously suppose we'd gain anything from them.

OK, how many Labour supporting GOT members really believe that Corbyn would make a great PM and McDonnell a great Chancellor........come on lads, nail your colours to the flag........

David Cameron did it with Ed Milliband then we had a stage full - May should just take on Corbyn - why should Sturgeon get a stage she is not in the HP not an MP - she should sort the mess out in Scotland !
The other minor parties should butt out just the two potential new PMs debate on tv imo!

I thought the debates were a good idea in 2010 but quickly changed my mind. They exemplify everything that is wrong with modern politics. It's basically just a group of people reading out prewritten lines like robots over and over and over again.

Times have changed and her decision to wimp out of it, could backfire

Not really. It's a media driven event. She has said she's not taking part. The media will really try to det something up, but as she has said, these opposition parties get to grill her every Wednesday. I don't believe she will give them the oxygen of a debate with her............
