Spending per capita on welfare.

ukgs_line.php

As I've said many times, I'm not voting for them as I disagree wholeheartedly with Brexit, but some of the hysteria people come out with is ridiculous.

How much of that was spent on universal credit and welfare reform? And how effective has that been?

And also I don't understand why people are secret Tories or shy Tories, you're voting for your future surely you're proud of the manifesto you're voting for?
Normal people aren't bothered about virtue signalling like some deranged cultists.

It's not about funding it's as a direct result of the bedroom tax and this stupid back to work rubbish. But yes mate you harp on about how much is spent while people kill themselves.

Btw I did note you didn't deny it.

I'm trying to understand the situation more as it seems strange that welfare spending per capita has gone up considerably, yet more people seem to be taking drastic measures. It sounds like you're suggesting we (the state) have plenty of money but it isn't spent correctly?

Probably because they can't be bothered getting into a debate with someone that thinks they're racists, ladder pullers and morons? It might do no harm to take a page from your esteemed leaders playbook and actually talk to those who think differently?
Yeah cos my post on an Everton forum will make a difference won't it Bruce?

Have you been leafleting or doorstepping at all for your party, (whichever that is)?

I've made clear that I'm not a fan of my esteemed leader as you so patronisingly put it.

Looks like another ban will be incoming but I hope you don't think my post on a football website has influenced people to change their vote.

Everyone I see on social media is voting labour and we will lose horrifically, it's called an echo chamber.

As I have said mate it's not spending that's the issue it's the policies that's behind them that's the issue. It's the direct result of those policies that people are dying over.

Because it's shameful.
They are voting to kill the poor, disabled, sick and selected breeds of animals.
They are doing it because they think submitting to the Tory jackboot means they might go a bit easier on them, hell, they might even make a bit of profit out of it.
It's the lie they tell they middle classes, and they fall for it every time. Vote for us, we'll bully the others instead of you.

It's admitting you are weak or sadistic. Shameful either way, that's why the majority of Tory voters hide that they do it.
I agree wholeheartedly but the only conclusion I can draw is that they are ladder pullers and I'm alright jacks, but I've already been pulled up on that

For the interests of balance I've had this same argument with my Brexit voting now Tory voting father (who lives in Marbella, lol irony) over the last few days.

I dunno, some of you lot had me tempted to take a picture of my cross next to the Tory candidate with a note dedicating my vote to the clique.

Not much of a clarification though.

I quite literally said

If the Michael Foot 1983 vote is no longer the 'floor' (labour getting less that 209)

Crystal clear.

But you carry on mate, celebrating a Labour Party result that will probably doom us to two decades of Tory rule because it wasn't quite as catastrophic as it could have been.

We're entering the most entertaining part of election day, where people go to vote and convince themselves that the demographic they see in the polling booth means it's "Looking good for us".

Well in ours earlier, in our local pub, honestly there was only me and Mrs R.

For the record, we are both electioned out, neither have any real enthusiasm for Corbyn, (more than we did a few weeks back mind), not for May.

So we both voted for the actual candidates on offer to us. Party Lite if you like.

I plumped for Liam Fox. He gets grief on here, obvs, but as a constituency MP, he has been excellent for a number of years. (Not arsed what his record on this or that is, like I say, local MP, been sound.) Think Mrs R did similar, but knowing her, she went all contrary and voted for a local Independent.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement though is it?
