Now then, a lot of you will know I don't usually vote, just not my thing. To me it feels like a waste of time as its usually voting for the lesser of many evils. And it's still a bit like that for me now.

But today I did. I did feel a certain pressure to which i didn't like but I chose to vote because there was no way I feel safe being led by a certain lady and her gang of cronies.

Probably a pointless vote, in fact definitely a pointless vote where I live for now, but at least I had a say.

No you're supporting the woman that is arming the fellas who are propagating Wahhabism

And actually I voted for my local MP not the party leader
Its sad you have been brainwashed to think anyone who doesn't vote Labour must be a Tory.

Neither are we sheep. Swallowed hook line and sinker what you have been told to believe haven't you.
Silly me for seeing all those pictures of him with various terrorist groups and making my own mind up.
What does huffpo say i should be thinking?

At least you voted mate that's important. And as long as You didn't vote Tory or UKIP it's all.good :)

How much of that was spent on universal credit and welfare reform? And how effective has that been?

No idea at all (on either question). I was merely researching after the numerous dire predictions that cuts in funding were decimating this area or another. If it's how the money is spent then that's definitely something to work on for whomever forms the government tomorrow.

Yeah cos my post on an Everton forum will make a difference won't it Bruce?

Have you been leafleting or doorstepping at all for your party, (whichever that is)?

I've made clear that I'm not a fan of my esteemed leader as you so patronisingly put it.

Looks like another ban will be incoming but I hope you don't think my post on a football website has influenced people to change their vote.

Everyone I see on social media is voting labour and we will lose horrifically, it's called an echo chamber.

I'm not planning on banning you, or anyone else, but you asked why people didn't identify themselves as Tories when doing so would likely open them up to various uncomplimentary accusations. I haven't done leafleting or anything of the sort as I'm not really party political.

As I have said mate it's not spending that's the issue it's the policies that's behind them that's the issue. It's the direct result of those policies that people are dying over.

Not a leading question as I don't know, but did the Labour manifesto have anything on spending the welfare money more effectively? I know the media portrayed it as simply taxing/spending more, but it would be interesting if they had plans to do things differently with the money they have.

You said less than 230 would be worse than 209. It would be, if its 208 or less. If its more than 209 then it won't be. If its 209 it will be as bad as.

Again, I realise you don't actually read people's posts properly because you can't consider an idea outside of your very narrow viewpoint, but I said

Really important to keep in mind how utterly disastrous <230 seats is for Labour and that massive, massive decisions will need to be made in the next weeks if that's how it turns out.

Because that was the baseline from which they gained a platform to win the next time out - so 1992 - 1997.

When Labour last got 209, it took them 14 years. It really isn't complicated, but you see about five words a post and start posting your tripe, every time.

Silly me for seeing all those pictures of him with various terrorist groups and making my own mind up.

Ah selective sight I see... what about the pictures of Tories talking to the ira? Are they terrorist sympathisers too? Or doesn't that fit your agenda? Face it most governments have talked to unsavoury people it's how you make piece.

Oh and by the way Thatcher loved Pinochet.....

Well in ours earlier, in our local pub, honestly there was only me and Mrs R.

For the record, we are both electioned out, neither have any real enthusiasm for Corbyn, (more than we did a few weeks back mind), not for May.

So we both voted for the actual candidates on offer to us. Party Lite if you like.

I plumped for Liam Fox. He gets grief on here, obvs, but as a constituency MP, he has been excellent for a number of years. (Not arsed what his record on this or that is, like I say, local MP, been sound.) Think Mrs R did similar, but knowing her, she went all contrary and voted for a local Independent.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement though is it?

I did the exactly same here mate.

They pledged to end the bedroom tax and the back to work regime which are the policies people are killing themselves over....
