Latest poll has tories with 96 seat majority! Not looking good!

That's massive. Puts Labour on about 207 seats, worst since WWII. Really important to keep this in context; this isn't just worse than the Milliband / Brown homogenized rubbish, this would be worse than every iteration of the Labour Party in 72 years.

Probably because they can't be bothered getting into a debate with someone that thinks they're racists, ladder pullers and morons? It might do no harm to take a page from your esteemed leaders playbook and actually talk to those who think differently?
Come off it Bruce , seeing the damage that they are inflicting yet they still vote for them ! Gotta be at least one of those three!

Because it's shameful.
They are voting to kill the poor, disabled, sick and selected breeds of animals.
They are doing it because they think submitting to the Tory jackboot means they might go a bit easier on them, hell, they might even make a bit of profit out of it.
It's the lie they tell they middle classes, and they fall for it every time. Vote for us, we'll bully the others instead of you.

It's admitting you are weak or sadistic. Shameful either way, that's why the majority of Tory voters hide that they do it.

Another reason. What utter, utter twaddle. We have one of the most generous welfare systems in the world today, and we'll have one tomorrow whatever party is in government. This juvenile melodrama is utterly absurd.

I mean we've had accusations that the school system is going to die on its knees, yet we're currently spending more per person on education than we were at any time during the Blair government.

If the schools weren't collapsing then, why on earth should they now?

I've just taken 2/1 for Tory seats - 330-359

Really important to keep in mind how utterly disastrous <230 seats is for Labour and that massive, massive decisions will need to be made in the next weeks if that's how it turns out. If the Michael Foot 1983 vote is no longer the 'floor' (labour getting less that 209) - well, Labour didn't get back into power for 14 years after that. That's potentially 20 years of Tory rule if replicated.

It's going to be very, very rough.

I'd say "no chance that's true", but then I remember dismissing the 2015 exit poll too, which was spot on.

Realistically though, I think around 60. I'll go for 64.
