2013 January Transfer Window Thread

Well... At least our key players won't doubt our commitment to match their ambitions. I mean, we tried... Didn't we?

I'm sure they all saw that press release confirming we'd bid 8.6m for a new player.

I look forward to reading the excuses and the close shaves no doubt same old party line every window. The Fer IMO will prove to be a major blow. I agree the club comes first financially but I bet in hindsight club is regretting not just finalising the deal. A stop gap wouldn't have helped but CM a worry between now and end of season. Moyes contract situation certainly worries me now as club fell flat on face again in transfer window.

why has gueye gone on loan then? yes hes sh1t but moyes consistently had him on bench and has been played recently..bizarre

Exactly ok we'll know he's tosh but its another body for a small squad it injuries occur why send him out unless there's someone coming in. The only one saving grace here is that I just remembered we could always recall Gnarls.

Moyes is gone now anyway, surely he has to either sign a contract or say he isn't? This was our big chance to make a statement and we signed a right back from Barnsley. Says it all

John Stones is a very good RB with potential to become a future England RB . So were coming out of this window as a stronger side imho . Ross Barkley is returning in a few week and we have no long term injuries so we'll be alright .

the problem with anyone defending our transfer activity, we need players more than anyone else around us.
you cant deny it.
Its been a bad window.

With gueye going it may give oviedo more of a chance, I'm trying to find any sort of positive from today! WHERES THE GUEYE MONEY BILL!!
