Did anyone really expect us to sign anyone? I`m happy that we got a good young player and we spent 3 millionish. Rednapp will always wheel his deals and no doubt QPR will be in the gutter in the next couple of years. I`m happy with Everton and the way we do things. Most teams that spent more than us will not finish above us. We have kept our best players and I love my club.

Buying exciting new players tells your fans you have ambition.

But the way our club goes about business is akin to abuse.

My unwavering support feels abused.
