£25million, Jo and a Dubai beach holiday

I think every player is available for sale at the right price. In saying that, I would be a tad worried if both Lescott and Arteta went at the same time, since this significantly alters the dynamic of the team (on and off the pitch). But I wouldn't lose sleep if either one of them left for a silly price, and I don't think Moyes would either, assuming the money is immediately reinvested in the squad.

Everybody saying "every player has a price" Your wrong. Players like Arteta and Cahill have no value, they are the true meaning of the word priceless.

I wouldnt sell Arteta or Cahill for less than the 100m fee that was agreed for Kaka.

Also have to take into account Moyes would only see say £12million or so from the £25million as the rest would go into the clubs coffers.

SO....£50million - £25mill split for Moyes and the club would be fair.

Also have to take into account that as soon as other clubs see Moyes has money to spend the price of whoever he wants to bring in goes up.
It's all very well people mentioning Moutinho but is there any evidence to suggest that he'll be any more affordable when there is (some) money available?

To be honest, the board would just be delighted that there would be transfer activity without having to folk out a few quid.

For that reason, you'll probably find any income transfer wise would go entirely to Moyes.

Not much more you can add, thats spot on.

Lets not be all geordie like and pretend that the players havent got their price, were not Champions League regulars so they have.

But, on that basis, City have set their own value system based on previous dealings, 13 million for Wayne Bridge, 100 m bid for Kaka, 18 m for De Jong when they could have waited til the end of season and got him for 2m.

Based on that, and what Ive seen of Jo to assess his value. Tell them to do one.

Right we want £25 million and Jo, plus the site on Stanley Park that Liverpool want to build on, complete with a big new stadium casting a huge shadow on Anfield, plus the comfy chair from City's Boardroom and Mrs Hughes recipe for Lemon Cheesecake. Guaranteed. Then we can negotiate.

Apparently it's the recipe that's holding up the deal.

At least that's the rumor anyway.

Sensible.
