The board are responsible for the standard of player and character we put on the field. They've done precious little to help their managers improve this for 2 decades.

Remind me what position we were in before the current board took over again?

They have managed the debt whilst keeping us competitive (as the best of the rest usually) and have now brought in someone who seems to be ready to plow silly money into us.

I'm ok with that personally. Could have been much much much worse.

The board are parasites IMO and it's a crying shame BK failed to allow someone like Moshiri into the club until he knew his vanity project wouldn't be able to continue any further. All about him. Could have done it 10 years earlier.

So basically I'm not going to agree with you on this or indeed anyone of the happy clapper persuasion.

He wasn't perfect but as I said, could have been a lot lot worse. Ever since he took over we have basically been a top half team. We were in serious danger of being relegated into oblivion before that but people seem to forget about that and just hate him because he didn't find a billionaire down the back of his couch.

I still don't get the link between all this and players getting away with being mentally weak in big games again.

If we wanted to be a big club we'd have rooted out the mentally weak dross years ago. But the board haven't permitted any manager to sign enough quality to help us compete. Because they have no ambition and see 7th as superb.

Where are the leaders in the Liverpool team? I don't see too many yet they don't have any issues winning big games. We are lacking creativity and goals in the attacking midfield positions behind Rom. They have Coutinhio, Mane, firminhio an Lallana. Not only are they creative and a threat but they put in a real shift for the team too.

I thought the Derbies without Gerrard with make things better. I was wrong.
