    2025/26 David Moyes

Out-subbed by yet another opposition manager. Keane a liability every game. Too many physical-style players at the expense of pace. Square pegs etc.........you all know the script.

Match Thread Crystal Palace 2-2 Everton - Sunday 10th May 14:00

Too many lumbering giants in the outfield 10, can't sort their feet quick enough. 3 or 4 is plenty not half a dozen.

No row or seat numbers, but apart from that it's a genuine ticket.

I do, and so does everyone who watched the entire game.

That might have made it 1-1 , but we'd still have lost.

Always crab football in away games till we go behind. Tiresome, predictable, stodgy and stale. CBA with the rest of the season.

Never change, Ev. After the Chelsea win, we failed in the same old ways against the same old foes:- Thiago, Salah, Van Dijk, Soucek, Wilson, corners, targeting of Pickford, etc etc. Give me a break

Unlike the home game, we'll have Illi, Gana, Jarrad and KDH playing. Away win for sure.

    2025/26 Dwight McNeil

And if you've watched those matches you'll undoubtedly have noticed our useless strikers squandering those big chances created by Dwight.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Also, Pochetino is available in the summer after the WC. If RDZ doesn't take the job now, he would probably be second choice in the event of Spurs staying up, and they may even snub him altogether for rejecting them now. Currently he's guaranteed to be first choice.

ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I can't see him getting automatic selection for the remainder of the season. He's become a passenger and they need the points quite badly for their European qualification. Having said that, he'll get selected for the last game and get his penalty as others have suggested.

Anyone else very excited at the prospect of us relegating Spurs?

I'm not entirely sure about this, as I seem to recall that it was Man U and Chelsea fans that set the first to protest vociferously against the breakaway, effectively scuppering it. But I don't remember Spurs fans doing that much, and why would they? For them it was a golden ticket that they...

    The Chelsea Thread

I agree with that, but equally he is a project manager, tied to the corporate brand, American-style. Club football is about passion and emotion as well. I don't see any with him.

    2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

How exactly have you measured this, and why are you making it a competition between the two of them? Can't we just be satisfied and pleased that we have two young and exciting central midfielder in our squad?

Initial 10, then reduced to 6 + 2 Point Deductions

It's about money for them all. They all care, and it perpetuates the status quo.

Initial 10, then reduced to 6 + 2 Point Deductions

The only, only, silver lining, possibly, is that a points deduction for Chelsea would have virtually guaranteed the RS a Champions League place. As it stands, they now have a chance to keep them out. Which of course would cause an Anfield meltdown, and that would be fun. But still, 100% corrupt...

Are we wasting a shirt playing a "9" every week?

The scouting on Barry, given our style of play, is perplexing. He lacks physical strength, he lacks determination and commitment, and he lacks nous. OK, he's young but what improvement have we seen since pre-season?
