I didn't understand why we didn't double up on Van Dijk. We had 5 x six footers on the pitch. They had 2 centre halves, everyone else is 5 foot nothing.
To be fair to Tarkowski they did a number on him there, Konate and Van Djik doubled up on him and he couldn't jump. Needed Jake O'Brien to wade in but he didn't get involved - he was actually pulling Pickford's shirt when the corner came in...
Jeez....
Everton's David Moyes has won just four of his 41 Premier League games against Liverpool (D10 L27). His points-per-game rate of 0.54 against the Reds is his lowest against any opponent in his managerial career in the competition.
Agreed. When hes in the hybrid position he can have long periods where he doesnt see the ball and unable to have any influence.
Gueye is undroppable for Moyes though which then means Rohl, Armstrong, Tim have no chance of getting prolonged...
Having the season of his life, certainly for G+A but will always think he's an 8.
Think he helps us best there too. Think his best games, and indeed ours, have been with him in that 8 and Garner as a 6.
Think he was poor for the most part today, at times he was good but I felt like he was massively in his shell today, pulled out of a few challenges and seemed a bit off it because of the occasion.
Been a good signing and did great for the goal...
Agree, said a few times on here him an Ndiaye felt restrained/too disciplined, too concerned about getting back in.
We went to much percentage football and it shown most with them for me.
Convinced i'm the jinx...sat miserable after our game...watching City with my son....I said..."stuff it, lets just support City".....15 seconds later Donnarumma pretty much kicked the ball in his own net.
