It’s a shout mate, he more then justifies either role to be honest, 7 goals and 6 assists this season, but away from that, he’s become a real leader in the team and really drives tempo and innititive.
I think as an 8 he'd still make the kind of runs that get him goals. He's a very clever player. Anonymous first half, trying to help the midfield, too late to support Beto. Hybrid role doesnt help him in these type of games. 2nd half he stepped up with a great assist but once Barry was in, George on the left he became anonymous again and nothing was done to help the shape of the team.
