same here , one has a wife with cough and sore throat been off for a week self isolated, and has been in work doing overtime for 3 days, no respect for his workmates or the people he meets in his job, says as he mostly on his own its the same as isolating the greedy soft b, so somebody can die so he can get a few hundred in the bank
with people knocking about like this , and others treating it like a bank holiday day out , we are going to get hammered in the UK in the coming weeks.
Hopefully not mate. The vast majority of people are taking this seriously, but there will always be nobheads like your work colleague. Whilst it won't be any consolation for the people they may pass the disease onto, hopefully in the big picture it won't make a lot of difference. Eventually it will sink in with everybody.

Stay safe. To a large extent if you continue to practice social distancing and follow sanitisation recommendations you can still go a long way to stop yourself being infected.

Being active and eating healthy is always good advice, but you are wasting your money on the vitamins.

I'm still on the tubs I bought tbf. I'll get off them then after I've finished and see the difference (if there is any).

Fish Oil/Omega 3 I take as I don't like fish so it's the best source for me to get it from.

That would undoubtebly have helped, but the grim reality is that it's unlikely to have helped much.

On the economy, pretty much every country we trade with is going to be hit equally hard. If we'd prioritised our economy more, then we'd come out with more deaths and companies which, at first glance, looked healthier than our competitors.

But, who would they be exporting to ? To me, what seems to be happening on the economy, is a reasonably co-ordinated response from the major Western economies which means we'll all take a similar hit economically.

I think there was the chance to protect both the economy and lives. That chance came and went because countries didn't act quickly enough.

I take vitamins and a fish oil tab every two days.

Not saying they'll stop this virus at all, but since I started (three months ago) I've felt healthier. They're not the only thing. I've been mixing my exercise up and have gone veggie since the New Year - that's helped me feel like I have more energy.

My thing with this is I don't see why the advice hasn't also been that people need to start keeping themselves as healthy as possible. If you have a better immune system then you are likelier to get mild symptoms if you catch this virus than not.

Of course it's no sure thing but I'd rather do everything in my power to try and stack the odds in my favour rather than the viruses if you get me.

That's the advice that successive Governments and a whole host of organisations have been giving out for years regardless. Doesn't need a pandemic to heed that.
