Anybody else?

i think its a good idea..

Not my first choice. But for all the economies of scale and if it truely would look like a seventh wonder of the modern world I would at least listen to whats being proposed. For all the purists that would like Everton to stay in the city limits this may not be a bad shout. (Quit throwing stuff at me.)

Groundshare means we'll be earning them money, we'll be paying the rent to play in their stadium on their red stands. All those stadiums in Italy that are shared are owned by local municipalities and rented by both clubs. The difference is the stadium would be owned by Liverpool and we'd really have no ownership. We could never afford a 50% stake in a stadium that expensive - never.

Its a no from me too.

Like any Evertonians would find it comfortable sitting on a glossy red chair that could have LFC written on it? Of walking through the ground with their chrest everywhere, HOME OF LFC (and everton)....just thinking about it is wrong!

I'd rather have a ground in Warrington than share with them on their terms.

We'll get a ground that will be ours in a place we'll call our own rather than be associated with the red [Poor language removed] all the time. Teams will come to Kirkby knowing its Everton's town, not thinking we're the city's inferior brother. We need to step out of the media's red [Poor language removed] shadow.

LCC know they're going to loose millions when we move and will do anything legally to try and stop it. EFC has always turned round and said LCC have been unhelpful in finding a derired site in the city and have always [Poor language removed] us around in favour of the [Poor language removed].

I'd rather dodge arl women with bags from Tescos than walk past the shankly statue on my way through shanklys gates to my seat in the kop stand.

But Danny, they'd be passing Dixie Dean statue and sitting in the Howard Kendall stand. It'd be the same for both clubs. Give me a redeveloped Goodison anyday, but I'm quickly going off this Kirkby idea.

And they would be thinking exactly the same thing, its a non starter. Kirkby or nothing for us

Just not right though is it Neb, sharing your identity with your rivals.

That is a worry, Danny. I hated the idea previously but this damned Kirkby move is starting to sound worse than the shared stadium. It seems to be "straw grasping" time.

If only we could find the will and cash to redevelop Goodison ...
