Yeah if put those 2 goals on his head, which is fair enough, hes still made some cracking stops in-between, saying hes been crap for weeks would suggest hes been shedding.
Hes always got a mistake in him.

If he keeps making basic mistakes that cost us points. I don't think any of the Pickford "haters" as you call them. I prefer to use the word, "critics" go into hiding at all. This was a fundamental error on his part that's cost us 2 points. It's basic goalkeeping. You set your wall up, then you cover the opposite side. If the wall doesn't do it's job, it's their fault, but you've got to trust them. He actually moves to the other side of the goal. If he stays where he supposed to, he saves it.

I also said the same thing but to suggest he couldn’t get it up and over the wall or hit it anywhere other than where it went is silly as I said they can put it anywhere, and to suggest someone who’s got a different opinion to you doesn’t know football is also silly. I’ve played 100s of games in goal and coached for years and yes that side should be his you let the wall do there job that side and if you’re beaten up and over the wall then well done attacker. It came from what looked like a well worked FK where the united player disrupted think it was maybe Doucoure and gueye and that’s where Fernandes put it. Great finish as he has real quality and could have put the ball anywhere, could Pickford of moved maybe but he was wrong footed and got caught out not sure he’d of got it if he went the right way anyway.
