Has our Jordan announced his retirement from international football yet. A quick scan of the back pages seem to have decided that "Hendo" is the man to replace beleaguered Pickford immediately.

If I was his agent I would be waiting to see the outcome of the Grealish deal before putting pen to paper. Use that deal to get a bump in the wage packet.

This will be the danger of smashing our wage structure. It could be that top players like Pickford have a clause in the contract for parity with top earner, if not they’ll know the new guy is being paid significantly more and want the benchmark raised for themselves via their agents. It has to be handled carefully.

I'd usually say yes but his kicking/passing at the weekend was abysmal.

While Jordan Pickford has been our player of the season multiple times and helped save us from relegation.

Might as well bring Scott Carson to the club and offer him higher wages as he a few titles to his name as well.
