I mean are you defending Pickford today?

On the whole he's obviously been very good for us, today he was small in a big moment and crucially it was a mental error which are the type most avoidable.

We’ve won games and he’s also been at fault for goals.

This holds true for every single season too. He's consistently up and down which means he's average-ish. It's always been the case. I do think he's been slightly more consistent on the good side in recent years.

Think he's been decent recently, and couldn't do anything about the second goal. But the free-kick is a bit of clanger. Just needs to stay on that side of the goal and he saves that. If you get beaten over the wall then fair enough, but you look a bit of a tit if you try and anticipate a worldy and leave a simple shot to go in

Villa and Bournemouth are a step or two up from them but we lost to both of them Brighton we won the same way Dyche won many of his games, Palace was okay getting a result there after the tough game v Liverpool was a very good result.

Still at Goodison under Moyes it’s won two lost two and drew two which is not bad going.
