I think ManU would count as a team of 'substance' don't you? Anyway my theory is that there are about 8 good teams in this league and 12 quite poor ones-if you can win the majority of your games against those crap teams and get a few points here and there against the top 7, you'll be there or thereabouts for top 4. We are still second in the league having done just that.

You have to be honest with yourself and admit that the amount of money Liverpool have spent over the seasons its got to be disappointing that you are not that good.
