Fell at the first hurdle ⭐🐟

GK Nigel Martyn
RB Seamus Coleman
LB Leighton Baines
CB Phil Jagielka
CB Joleon Lescott
RW Richalison
CM Mikel Arteta
CM Marouane Fellaini
LW Steven Pienaar
CF Wayne Rooney (2002-2004 version)
CF Romelu Lukaku

Martyn over Pickford may be a suprise but I just feel he was a slightly better keeper. Another suprise is Fellaini in the holding role (where he was initially bought for) when he played his best football playing further forward. Richarlison on the right rather than left as I couldn't break up the Baines/Pienaar axis down that side.

Still feel Lescott and Jagielka have been out best central defence partnership since Ratcliffe and Watson and what a forward line in Rooney and Lukaku. They'd put the craps up any defence.
