Your best Everton XI of the century

You simply cannot leave Cahill out.

Pickford
Coleman Stones Lescott Baines
Kanchelskis Gueye Arteta Pienaar
Cahill
Lukaku
I'm leaving out Rooney because he wasn't yet the full package when he left us, but Lukaku absolutely was.

Branthwaite because he's only had one good season so far. Lescott was unbelievable for us, in both boxes, and Stones was immense, hence why City gave us over £60m for the pair.

It's incredibly leave to basically leave out 99% of players from between the late 80s and mid 2000s.

At 39, I'm not old enough to have witnessed the title-winning players of our glory years.

Do you understand what the concept of "this century" is?

2000 -

I’m baffled at graveson getting a shout.

Had a good few months but other than that he wasn’t great.

I’d have a load of midfielders over him.
A team is a team, not a bunch of individuals.

Full of balance, poise, aggression, solidity,
magical skill, pace, winning mentality, clinical finishing and together perform like Galactios can only dream of.

Some people are forgetting how good Rooney was, even at 16-18, he was very clearly the most talented player I have EVER seen play for the club.

If he’d been playing with better players he would have looked even better (as we saw at United). He simply has to be in the line up here.

Lukaku had a much bigger impact. Wayne was a true boy wonder though.

Martyn
Coleman Jagielka Lescott Baines
Gana
Kanchelskis Arteta Fellaini Pienaar
Lukaku
Yeah, that's right, I put Kancho in. Not sure who I feel most sorry for, the opposition or Coleman trying to overlap. Fellaini was a cheat code - the equivalent of two players at once.

Bench? (5)
Pickford
Oviedo
Cahill
Ndiaye
Yakubu

Yeah go on, that feels about right.
