Two slight changes... otherwise I'm with you.

Southall

Stevens.....Labone.....Ratcliffe....Van Den Hauwe

Dave Thomas....Kendall.....Reid.....Sheedy

Sharpe.....Big Bob
If you saw Kendall and Labone play, I’m really surprised Alan Ball arguably alongside Dean, the greatest player to have played for the club, doesn’t make your team.

Alan Ball would walk into almost any side, but I did not think he would fit into that particular team. The midfield would need to be Harvey, Kendall, Ball and perhaps Johnny Morrisey. Picking an all time Greatest side really is an impossible task!

From my time watching our beloved blues its: Southall,Stevens,Mountfield,Ratcliffe,Van den hauwe,Steven,Reid,Bracewell,Sheedy,Sharp,Heath.
This side was going on to dominate domestic and European football only for a certain clubs fans to commit the crime and we did the time.
Unfortunately never saw the great 1969-70 title winning side or the golden vision, would have loved to seen Bally in his prime;)

This is one of those rare occasions when I would not trade my longevity for youth :)

I feel sorry for young Blues when a line up like that, albeit a worthy one,is their top all time XI, Josephine :(

FWIW......

Why Deulefou ?

Fair point mate. Alternatively you could start with Everton’s best ever player - alan ball (in my late dad’s words) and build the team around him.

This comment is based on what he achieved, and footage i've seen but surely Trevor Steven couldn't miss out at the expense of a player who wasn't good enough for us when finishing 11th and now plays for Watford?

West
Wright Hurst Labone Brown
Kendall Ball Harvey
Husband Royle Morrissey

With nods to Collins, Kay, Young, Vernon, K Newton, T. Jackson and Whittle, to name but 7...plus Parker and Wilson

Yes 84-85 might...due to the fact that they seemed to hate losing a little bit more...edge them out in a photo finish or 21-20 over 41 frames
But 69-70 would score the most 147s
So
Given 1 free go in a TARDIS or DeLorean, I'd go back to Aug 1966 and watch it all grow and unfold...and mayhap even have a word or 2 in a certain youngsters earhole...not that he'd listen, they know it all at that age.
