What do we do if he’s turbo gash, it’s probably likely he will be

I hope so too.

But the issue for us this summer was that we had a manager who had to put up with a policy of slash and burn in terms of getting players out but the replacements he required were too slow coming in (hence his comment about 'another preseason' needed to bed them in) or weren't fit to make starts in the first two months of the season...at least.

That wasn't fair on the manager. If he's struggling in a few weeks time to get fans keeping the faith then it's been down to that transfer policy he was handcuffed to. I hope the moaners remember that.

Yeah defo, we could have brought in Fergie at his peak but it would still take a while for us to heal. Such was the mismanagement last year.

I've got a bad feeling about this bloke. The similarity with the Niasse deal has put me right off. And Gomes.
What's the similarity? Niasse was bought off a crap russian team. Mina and Gomes came from one of/the best clubs in the world who felt the need to put a £60m buyback clause. Not saying that means he's going to be great, but I can't see how you'd think this is similar to the Niasse deal.

Its an option to have first refusal to buy so good for them if he turns out boss and costs them nothing- crap or not.
