When he arrived Lukaku could barely restrain himself from laughing about how crap he was. He called Niasse- "raw"I don't recall that that all, thought the only club stance was "he has a wrist injury". Could well be wrong.

Niasse wasn't cheap, arrived with an injury, took a VERY long time before he was able to play, and has turned out to be
an underwhelming signing.
Mina wasn't cheap, arrived with a long term injury, is taking a VERY long time being ready to play, and, well.....we'll see.
Do you not see the similarity?
If you watch football for entertainment then Niasse was not underwhelming in any way. But to compare Yerry to him because he's been hurt a bit is off. Remember Oumar got 5 appearances that entire second half of the season. I'm fairly certain Yerry will beat that.Niasse wasn't cheap, arrived with an injury, took a VERY long time before he was able to play, and has turned out to be

Agree totallyBut if Silva or Brands wanted these players then sometimes it's worth the wait to go one step back at first and go two or three steps forward in the near future.
Said earlier we may not see the best of this squad fully until Christmas, but it may provide dividends next season and so on.
I really hope you're all right. I don't see much hope of things getting much better if he and Gomes don't measure up.If you watch football for entertainment then Niasse was not underwhelming in any way. Well signing an injured player and stating he has a minor foot injury then 6 weeks later he is nowhere near the team makes you wonder what the hell is going on.Players get injured then after a period of time they get better and play again. Why is he any different?
He returned from the world cup very late, picked up an injury and hasn't had a preseason. What should we have done?Well signing an injured player and stating he has a minor foot injury then 6 weeks later he is nowhere near the team makes you wonder what the hell is going on.

Makes me think that his injury took a few weeks to get better and he then needed to get fit and up to speed with the rest of the team.Well signing an injured player and stating he has a minor foot injury then 6 weeks later he is nowhere near the team makes you wonder what the hell is going on.
I thought Silva said pretty much the same a few weeks ago. He needs time to get fit and up to speed with the squad.Makes me think that his injury took a few weeks to get better and he then needed to get fit and up to speed with the rest of the team.
