Torres. 32 appearances, 7 goals. GASH
Torres 2011/12. 32 appearances, 6 goals. GASHER
Welbeck. 26 appearances, 1 goal. GASHEST
Amen to that. Can you imagine either of those chumps playing for us? *shudder*

Brennan lands a KO with.the stats. Welbeck is the gashest striker in the league. I'd rather have Bobby Zamora up front for us.Torres. 32 appearances, 7 goals. GASH

I love how there is no middle ground with some fans, a player is either "boss" or "gash", it's hilarious.
Back to Jelavic, second season syndrome personified, not a terrible year, just very average after so much expectation. If it was a school report then his performance would read "must do better".
See how he does next season, if he doesn't improve then I wouldn't be sad to see him go.

Are you seriously suggesting that he's played well this season? He hasn't even been average to expectation. He's been badly badly below average.
Yeah...
1 goal in every 5 games for a team in our position is not 'average', it's woeful. Even Big Vic has done better than that.

You've abandoned Jelavic a bit sharpish haven't you? Take a look at your OTT posts from when he was on fire and compare them to your current attitude - there's a big difference.

You can only judge people on how they play Dave.
Its wrong to do anything else, when he was on fire he was on fire, slotting for fun, so ofc course he will get praise.
At the moment, he cant run, with or without the ball, he cant control 5 yard passes and he certainly cant shoot.
So of course people are gonna pick up on that.

Oh yeah, I agree. I was pickign Brennan up on it in particular because he was merciless with me when he felt I'd made a monumental error of judgement on Jelavic.
