Would you sell Jelavic?

There are reports today that Moyes is keen to keep Jelavic, despite interest from a "number of clubs".

I'm curious about what everyone's opinion on this is. If he can return to being a goal machine for us, then he's definitely worth keeping, but at the moment there's no point keeping a striker who can't score goals.

Depends how much we got for him. If we could somehow get £8million plus then yes. If not I would rather keep him and give him one more season.

I'd sell him if we can get about 4m for him, he's a shadow of the player we saw last season.

Wasn't last season, was he?

It's took Anichebe 7 seasons to finally have anything resembling a half-decent season, yet people want to discard Jelavic after one season because he's had a bit of a barren spell in front of goal.

No, I think he is still a good player and could do with a rest. You have to remember he played all thru last season and this without a break (as he played in the summer for Croatia). Everton's one up front system means you have to put a huge amount of running in and I think a summer off will do wonders for him, as will a couple of goals in pre-season just to get his confidence back a little.

You don't just lose the ability to sniff out goals and I really can't fault him as, despite him having a poor goal return and missing a number of chances, his work rate has remained excellent and I think it showed how much he 'gets' playing for Everton (the clincher against Man City comes to mind).

Would like to see him get a chance to play alongside Anichebe (if he's fit!) up front today too (not that it'll happen)!

You must be watching a different player than me mate.

He works hard for the team, doesn't give the ball away and okay, he hasn't been scoring, but he's set a few up.

I can think of lots of other players I'd discard before Jelavic - Naismith, Osman, and yes, even Anichebe.

Give him another year. I like the lad he has just had a bad time since November . We wouldn't get that much for him anyway on current form
