I thought Phil had two very good games against Villa and United and was quite a solid presence for us towards the end of last season, don't understand the desire to boot him out the team, better option then Hibbert at Right-back imo and a solid performer in holding midfield who is capable of passing the ball to our creative players.

Only when he's got Cahill playing next to him and Stracqualursi as an outball, when we got Pienaar back and Gibson and Jelavic, along with Fellaini hitting form, you could see his use grow as a defensive midfielder, his performance against United in both games this year were fantastic and part of the reason we managed to stay solid defensively and also allowed our attacking players the freedom to cause the opposition problems as well. You can also see that he's a great captain and motivator and we often miss him when he's out the team in that sense.

He's more use to the club than the team at this point, but you need people like Neville in your club.
I think he talks a lot of sense, has a lot of experience and is a testament to what you can achieve in the game with a lot of determination and a tiny bit of talent.
The emerging players need to see people like Neville at the training ground to appreciate how you need to behave to remain at the top of the game for your whole career. I don't liike seeing him in the first team anymore unless it's a necessity, but I'd love him to stay at the club.
