Not really.... quite accurate.
Are you saying he's got a good touch and can hold a ball up?
Are you saying he can play touch football?
Are you saying that he isn't lazy?
Are you saying that his goals didn't mask a load of technical deficiencies and that he didn't struggle to score again st top sides?
If you said yes to any of those then you are lying.
I would not say he was lazy in anyway, you don't score 26 goals in a season by being lazy, he singlehandly won us that FA Cup quarter against Chelsea for example. He didn't score goals against the top sides mainly due to our style of play in such matches, the same problem he is having at United.
The idea that our team didn't attack because of a fear of getting caught out is also nonsense. If they didn't support him in attack he couldn't possible achieve the assist numbers he did.
His touch and hold up play also improved quite heavily during his time with us. While not his strongest point, I've seen Tosun have equally as many nightmare touches.
In Lukaku's permanent three seasons with us:
26 goals 7 assists (2nd highest for assists) (4th highest striker for assists in the league)
25 goals 7 assists (3rd highest) (4th highest striker in league for assist )
16 goals 8 assists (2nd highest) (joint 5th striker for assists)
You can't be lazy, unable to hold the ball up and have a host of other technical deficiencies and achieve those stats.
Anyone who says they would have the best striker to have play for this club in nearly 30 years back is lying. Moaning on international duty or not, he would improve this team.
