Upsets the balance of every team he plays for. His ball retention is awful, anyone who thinks that he would benefit from playing with Bernard and Richarlison is having a laugh. They play quick touch football and lukaku is not reliable or sure footed enough for them to play give and go's.
When we had him we got hit on the counter all the time when attacks broke down at his doing. He covered up this with his goals.... when he was scoring. In the end team mates didn't commit forward cos they knew he could lose it.
if Belgium had Mbappe instead of Lukaku - they would have won the world cup. It's as simple as that. He's not good enough to get the most out of hazard and de Bruyne - his movement is second rate and his link up play non existent.

Absolutely, if he was getting 30 a season in all competitions under Koeman and at the arse end of Martinez's reign then now we have an attacking manager with genuine creativity behind him he'd have a field day. Can't believe anyone would say no to guaranteed 30 goals a season just because he can't trap a ball or "isn't a team player" like the clowns up front for us now.
