I'm a huge fan of Sig' as most know but @Saint Domingo has hit the nail on the head, none of them play with a solitary "number 10" and if they did, the likes of Hazard, Eriksen and Ozil are just (and more) ahead of him.
I said when we bought him that he was the best playmaker outside of those sides and thus the last available to be purchased from within the league.
He's top class and as someone has said in this thread, exactly what we need if we are going to upset the party at the so called "top 6".
What we desperately need is a RW who can finish (happy for that to be Walcott if he can find and sustain some form) and a clinical Striker. What we've seen this season is Mr Iceland continue to create a barrel of chances and we've been so wasteful.
What's important is we as a fan base recognise how many chances he's creating that he's not converting. Let's face it, much of the media and other fans will look directly at that column of assists as the only barometer of a creative player. Should we continue to be wasteful, that particular stat may not give him the compliment he deserves come the end of the season.

I don't think he would walk into the first teams of the top 4, but he wouldn't look out of place in their squads, I am just happy he is with us

Not better than any other than possibly Barkley who had a poor spell, but even Barkley on his day is better.

He would comfortably fit in with those across the park, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs again or Man U. Not saying a regular starter, but would play a lot of games over a season.
