Worst Everton Moment

Always been RS games going all the way back to the 60s.

They beat us 3-0 at Goodison someone called Bobby graham scored 2 and that was the die cast, they'd buy these no marks who do nothing in their careers bar score the winner against us, some lanky tit called Alan Waddle was another.

I stopped going to Derbies or watching live on telly after standing on the kop with 5 blues and Fairclough (supersub) come on and scored with a few mins to go them winning 1-0, - If there is a hell that is it - standing dumbstruck as thousands of the feckers pulled your scarf flicked the vees and generally ripped in culminating in ynwa.

Missed the cup finals and semis - absolutely nailed on what happens.

Young lads saying why give a fook about them really have no idea.

Being 24 I am only just about old enough to remember watching the FA Cup Final victory against Man United on tv. Other than that it's pretty much all been ****ing misery watching Everton

My top worst moments (in no particular order other than the ****e at wembley):

1. Losing in the Semi last season
2. The Fa Cup quarter final at Middlesbrough in 2002
3. Tranmere battering us 0-3 at home in the FA Cup.
4. Gerrard hat-trick last season at Anfield
5. Losing 4-0 to Bolton at home in 2005. We had been beaten by West Brom 4-0 a few weeks before and the next league game we got beat 4-0 by Villa away. That was the season we were supposed to be in the Champions League as well .
6. Losing 5-1 to Dinamo Bucharest
7. Collina robbing us against Villarreal
8. Coming back to 3-3 against Man United at home, only for van Nistelrooy to get the winner right at the end. Who else would that happen to?
9. Everton 1 - 2 Sheffield Wednesday in 98/99. Definitely thought we were going down (before Kevin Campbell rescued us in the last few matches).
10. Everton 0 - 3 Ipswich Town 2000

Just found an article after from that Ipswich game:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2000/oct/02/match.sport8

"Like his Manchester City counterpart, the average Everton punter is a remarkable animal. Masochistic, sustained by blind faith and imbued with the belief that something better will turn up, those who regularly fill Goodison Park are to be admired; the real heroes, at a club marooned in a period of transition for most of a decade, wear scarves not shorts."

Look where Man City are now and we're still here with the same old ****e to put up with each season

Then again, i've had some unbelievable moments supporting Everton and some that clubs like Wigan, Sunderland, Norwich fans could only dream of. We don't even have it that bad either, we're still 6th in the league and a chance tomorrow to get in the FA Cup quarter final. Unless you support United, City, Chelsea or Spurs things aren't that great for any set of fans at the moment.

villa when young scored after we equalized in the 90th minute
fa cup last season
chelsea cup final hibbert
villareal
4-2 against united after leading
1-0 anfield when they went down to 10 men
4-1 west brom
reading 1-0 long
birmingham 2-1

That moment Distin played it back and Suarez got onto it, you knew he would score and you knew they'd go and win in.. our end was flat after that. We ALL knew.

Away at Luton, April or May 1986......the Lineker season

Title ours to win.

I think we lead 1-0 but whatever, it was level with the minutes almost up.

Even a draw kept us in the box seat with Liverpool in second place.

But we conceded a late goal to lose tha match and LFC won the same evening to go two points in front of us with one game to go.

I was devastated that night.

They still had a tricky enough game at The Bridge and we were home to Saints.

The goal differences were pretty similiar so we all thought a thumping good win could see us take the title as Chelsea couls maybe take at least a point point.

As it happens we won 6-1 or sommat.....but they won at The Bridge and then went on to do the Double at Wembley.

Blimey....now I come gto think of it leaving Wembley that day was my lowest ever moment as an Evertonian :@

Most derbies under Moyes. Last season at Wembley was probably the most upsetting of my lifetime, but for some reason the one which angered me most was the 3-0 loss at Goodison in 2005/06. The sight of Crouch rounding Martyn was just too much for me to take. The lanky, useless [Poor language removed] had never accelerated away from another footballer in his life, and then he went and left Everton's defence and goalkeeper for dead.

The 7-0 and 6-1 defeats to Arsenal were bad, and I remember a spell of getting murdered 4-0 every week after the Villarreal/Bucharest disasters. Fiorentina was a sickener as well.

Obviously everything between Royle and Moyes was just awful, but at least back then we expected it.

The Semi final last season, never felt so disappointed in my life. From pure jubilation in the first half to almost suicidal despair at the final whistle.

Cup Final in 09.

The start of the 05/06 season; Collina screwing us over, 5-1 at Bucharest, losing 7 of the first 8 league games. Ugh.

Losing 3-0 at home to Tranmere in 2001.
