Worst Everton Moment

Ferguson's disallowed goal against Villarreal was bad. Really bad. I was 13 at the time and in tears.

The loss away to Bolton last season was awful, as was the home fixture actually.

The 4-0 loss to Arsenal in 1998 that looked for all the world like it would relegate us, a performance that would be flattered by the term "utter ****e".

Selling rooney closely followed by the happy clappers last season - both made me feel sick

Most of the other events are one-offs - ie losing football matches

i'm not sure the clattenburg derby will be beaten from my perspective - THE single worst thing i have whitnessed on a football pitch, the guy deserved to get hung, it was cheating of the highest order and it still required tremendous amounts of cheating for them to sneak it with a last min penalty - it just illustrated how everything is rosy for the RS and how everything goes wrong for us (based on my lifetime as an evertonian)

For some reason I always remember getting beat in the FA cup final by Man Utd in 1985 as my worst moment. absolutely gutted when Whiteside scored that curler. Even worse than losing to liverpool twice in 86 and 89. Not sure why, prob cos I expected to beat them, whereas i half expected to be beaten by Liverpool.

We would have done the treble.

easy this one. as others the semi last season. i have never felt more embarressed that i did that day walking away from wembley.i have never witnessed another team bottle a football match like we did that day. (i have seen us do it in other big games). I said that i would never go back why moyes was manager and be humiliated again. and i still stick by that.

I think the 89 cup final for me. Was only young and when they scored to make it 3-2 I cried for pretty much the rest of the day.
